One problem is there are so damn many rinos. In fact, it appears the vast majority of the Republicans are rinos. A second problem is politicians believe the 'public memory' is about two weeks before the public forgets whatever issue that had shown light on Congress. In other words, the Founders were correct - 'you may keep it as long as you remain educated, i.e., are aware of what it takes and what to avoid. Seems to me we have failed to keep our principles. Plus, we underestimate the influence of the media. It is not a friend of an educated, aware, citizen.

J.D., I agree with you, but - How do you primary someone who's been in Congress for 12 years, and who never has any serious opposition? I'm speaking of one Larry Bucshon, who is a Never Trumper establishment RINO, who joined those other 44 "Reps" in signing that letter complaining about how McCarthy was removed as Speaker, and who is already auditioning for his CNN gig by going on there and calling for the House rules to be changed so one Rep cannot call for a Motion to Vacate ever again.
