It's hard to feel sympathy/empathy for these cities/people, when they keep voting in these activist hucksters. Unfortunately, it has indirect effects on the larger political, financial and ideological landscape for America.

This clown will ask for and get FEMA assistance (Financial and tangible assets), and the rest of the federal tax payers, will foot the bill. You'll see water trucked in by the pallet loads, financial assistance, ATM cards and more Fed money allocated for infrastructure upgrades.

You can then sit back and watch how many votes your money buys, for the left, as this criminal pockets much of those federal funds or grants contracts to friends and family for the infrastructure projects...obama shovel ready baby!!

Think what you want, but the left has a great playbook, for taking and keeping power, in the face of destroying cities and states...in plain sight of their voting constituency. It's been working for decades, with no end in sight.

As a resident of Mississippi I should explain that Jackson is the place you go if you don't fit in with regular people in Mississippi. It is the stepchild of Chicago. It is a place where politicians are welcome. For years reasonable working people and businesses have been leaving and communities outside the Jackson city limits have boomed. The only ones left in Jackson are the ones who can't afford this move or like it as it is. The rest of the state sees it as a family member with a bad addiction of spending.

Ignorant is as ignorant says and does. You can call me racist if you like and my response will be “what’s your point?”
