Neither Sinema nor Manchin are going to actually leave the democrat party. Both are opportunists who hold out until they get what they want and then fold. Manchin is the expert at this while Sinema is still something of a novice. Neither are going to stop caucusing with the democrats, neither is going to be taken off committees (representing democrats) and neither are going to stop voting with the democrats.
If he does it won’t make any difference because both he and Sinema voted with McConnell to negate Republicans for a full year with the 1.7 trillion bill. Who sends these people money? How did McConnell remain leader?
