Mr. Barnes responded appropriately, honorably, and admirably.

Great job of answering the DC wannabes.

Thank you.

The Voice of Christ - “My child, do not be curious. Do not trouble yourself with idle cares. What matters this or that to you? Follow Me. What is it to you if a man is such and such, if another does this or that? You will not have to answer for others, but you will have to give account of yourself. Why then do you meddle in their affairs?”- Thomas a Kempis, “The Imitation of Christ”, Chapter 24

Here is a comment I posted on another website but with an important addition:

A Christian is someone who follows the teaching of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.

He is someone who longs and prays for the realization of the promise in Isaiah:

"(The Lord) shall judge between the nations, and shall decide disputes for many peoples;

and they shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks;

nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." (Is 2:4)

It is a shame when a politician puts his politics ahead of his Christian principles.

He is lacking in the discernment the Scriptures speak of and so does not distinguish between good and evil.

Johannes Reimer, a German who grew up in Russia but now lives in Germany and has had much contact with both Russia and Ukraine, wrote and showed the situation is more complex than politicians and media would admit.
