If you are a self proclaimed "sanctuary city" you have no place to complain. Texas is not a sanctuary state so it makes sense for them to move the illegals to the states of stupid people.
As for the clown saying this is "using" people for politics...that started when you claimed yourself a sanctuary for illegals so they would vote for democRATs. You don't want them in NY because they are not needed there to tip the voting scales.
Perhaps the biggest deterrent to illegal adults would be if they were forced to do hard labor to support themselves with food, clothing, housing, transport, medical etc. Those coming for freebies would likely have their numbers reduced by well over 90%. No work means no food. Crime means a free flight home the next day.
