Yep.. i agree. The mix of info/news/"entertainment" always at hand, and the addictive nature of "being in the know" gives us mountains more of worrisome stuff to ponder and stew over.

I'm beginning to think, however, that the worst thing may be the draw away from our closer circle of family, friends, and daily life (where we can contribute directly), and expands that circle to areas far beyond effective reach, in most cases. It's probably good to know what's supposedly going on 5,000 miles away, but the incessant pull to "see" more steals time and focus.

But man oh man, we'll never get this issue back in the bag, will we? Altho, there are others who can/do control our access. 😣
