If Trump is nominated I will vote for him, DeSantis will get my vote in the primary, the jabs are poison, Oz is a damn democrat, McCarthy is also a Democrat... Both Oz & McCarthy are/were never Trumpers... McCarthy is just Paul Ryans bathouse boy... DeSantis is going after the vax pushers, Trump is a vax pusher...

Lest we forget: McConnell is a commie loving demoncrat and China enabler.

Complete trump voter here. He has taken 6 yrs of crap that anyone else would have quit taking within months from the onset. I think trump doesn’t have a handler or not a good handler. Trump is good when he makes good choices and bad when he makes bad choices. He needs a trusted person that can help him maneuver the in between. The question is… will he listen to advice?

Expand full comment

It is now obvious that he will not take good advice, or else he is not in agreement with good advice! How many 'rino choices' must he make before we declare him unfit for conservative service? I say enough is enough. Bring on Ron DeSantis. Trump will not get my vote.

Are you sure that Desantis isn’t more GOP than MAGA. There is a lot of things that point to the possibility.

Good question. He is smart & savvy, but dang can mess up royally. As he did supporting a RINO for open Senate seat here in Alabama. He got into a fuss with Mo Brooks & threw his weight to Katie Britt (protege of Richard Shelby). Dems openly supported her. I begged him on TruthSocial to wake up. No headway & she won. We have 2 Senators we can’t trust now. Tuberville was actually FOR drafting women.

Trump is still the toughest to take on the SWAMP & I hope he’s learned some lessons from his egregious mistakes. He must address covid & vax catastrophe.

Now I’m learning from once-Trump supporters that he took big $$$ from Pfizer. For Inauguration. Maybe investments too.

Oh mercy

I'd rather not have Trump as a 2024 candidate than have McCarthy as Speaker.

The NFT cards were an abysmal failure and insult. Now to support McCarthy who was caught talking to Madcow about “getting rid of Trump”, clinches my decision. I am now a never-trumper. He obviously cannot be depended upon to pick good people. He needs to pray for discernment.

Expand full comment

Of course - the same old professional political class will do so much better... Some have to demand perfection in all things or turn tail, do nothing but moan about how disappointed they are that someone else isn't doing enough. Sad Face

NFT cards sold out in 24 hours for an avg of $230.00 ..on card is now worth $24,000.00. Who else has 218 votes..........a Democrat?

And so how and where did you get this $24K on one card??????

I agree with all you say except being a never-trumper. If he gets the nomination I will give him my vote but he, at this time, is not my choice. He did a lot of good things in spite of the "leadership" of his own party fighting him and even joining the demonrats to oppose him. That so-called leadership is the real problem.

I'm out. The GOP is dead. Time to go 3rd party. Yes we'll lose for a while, but if we actually STAND FOR SOMETHING we can win without the donor class and backstabbing RINOs. Let the GOPe have the GOP. Stop tainting our ideas with their feckless, underhanded, and unprincipled bullsh*t.

Trump's biggest short coming is his inability to judge the character of those he allows to influence him, and that is likely due to his arrogance.

Strike 1: "Terminate the Constitution"

Strike 2: Childish NFT cards that MAGA ppl fund embarrassing and "unpresidential"

Strike 3: failing to learn from past failure (Mitt Romney, Bill Barr, Dr. Oz) and supporting Paul Ryan Part 2 which is a slap in the face to real MAGA fighters in congress.

........ it's DeSantis turn at bat.

My support for Trump is wavering...voted for him twice, but I will echo my main reasons for wavering support:

- Continued support for the medical malpractice of pushing the Covid vaccine.

- Support for Dr Oz in PA

- The total carnival show of the Digital cards making him appear as a huckster - not a statesman.

- Support got McCarthy.

- Not a word of support for the illegally jailed Jan 6 defendants

I love Trump, but he has two serious flaws. First, his huge ego pulls him into petty fights that are a distraction and add no value. Second, he is unable to consistently judge the character and capabilities of his staff and partners. He is unable to distinguish between someone who is trustworthy versus a sycophant. For example, he mistakenly hired the questionable Amarosa and The Mooch, while also hiring highly capable Kudlow and Navarro. McCarthy is not as bad a McConnell, but he needs to step aside. McCarthy is a smoother version of Paul Ryan, which is not a compliment.

I’ve supported Trump from the get go. Lost lots of friends. I’m done. Just like the RINO’s, when push comes to shove Trump swims with the swamp. Both sides have taken us for a hell of a ride. No way is Trump this ignorant.

I can't believe all the miserable WHINERS that SNIVEL about this endorsement by Trump, including this author.

When people who call themselves conservatives can't get what they want, they start complaining like little girls? Some are even turning into never Trumpers and to me you are all DISGUSTING. Marjorie Taylor Greene is right, we have to back McCarthy because if we don't there is a great risk that R's will lose any or all leverage they have with their slim majority. End of Story.

I am so sick of WHINERS I could puke.

For God's sake, stop the infighting. Let President Trump make his endorsements as he sees fit. There is a long road ahead of us to rid the nation of Demonrat scumbags. Thanks for listening and Merry Christmas.

Not whiners, people who are sick and tired of being taken for granted. All of those people who are wasting away in jail because they (perhaps misguidedly) support Trump in protesting the Swamp's steal. He has never uttered a serious word or offered a statement of encouragement/outrage for these people. He is showing his ability to act and think on his feet is questionable.

Expand full comment

No, they are WHINERS.

President Trump has already stated publicly that he will pardon the J6 prisoners. He has stated that it is terrible how they are being treated in prison. He has pointed out how they are not able to review all the evidence or cross examine witnesses. They are not being afforded the rights of American citizens to a speedy trial. He has publicly stated that the hearings are another SHAM garbage show put on by Demonrats, who have cherry picked who is on the committee.

You are out of your gourd if you think he hasn't opposed the way these people are being treated.

Anyone who can sit down and write what you just wrote is either ignorant, or being divisive. I am for party unity at this crucial time. MTG is right. You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I reject your premise outright, where you state that Pres. Trump shows inability to act and think on his feet. Enjoy the day, Darryl.

What is the use of replying to you nutcases. Playing cards? Trump needs cash?

All I am saying is that MTG is right, we cannot afford to be divided, and allow Demonrat votes for a Speaker who will in NO WAY slow or halt all Demonrat bills going forward.

I am done responding to people who hate McCarthy and have not thought this through, as to what the consequences of a divided vote will be. Good Grief.

Expand full comment

MTG is wrong in her assessment. I love her, but she is incorrect in this. Dinesh D'Souza has the most in depth analysis of this, but Matt Gaetz's explanation is right on as well. Democrats have zero chance at stealing the speakership. And we can never regain control of this country with a RINO establishment Speaker.

He’s not a liberal. He has essentially become the “Bernie Sanders supporter” of the right wing. A group of trump supporters so delusional about the big picture they can’t see the inherent truth staring them in the face. Essentially the sycophants.

Trump is relegating himself to become the Bernie sanders of the conservatives. Someone who in trumps case will never see the White House again yet persists in splitting the party and is followed by hyper partisan ideologies with blind support that essentially troll and attack anyone who questions their Bronze God.

You’re quite ignorant. Kevin McCarthy is a globalist shill with ties to the world economic forum which has a priority of destroying American sovereignty.

That’s not whining Rob that’s a fact. The man is the biggest rat in the swamp and an enemy of our nation. You can’t support someone like this and not call yourself a politician. I supported trump before he became part of the swamp.

Sorry if you are such a fanboy that you are incapable of seeing him for what he has become. He’s becoming a circus attraction, supporting RINOS. And MTG is just as FOS as trump and you. Every Republican could vote for a better choice so that is the most ridiculous argument In the world. Sorry you can’t get in bed with a dog loaded with fleas and not wake up bitten.

Putting a Republican scumbag in charge of the house is no different than a democrat scumbag. If we end up losing control we never had it. And I’ve got news for you it Emmy matter. The Republicans are controlled opposition. They aren’t going to do anything anyway. Just more talk.

You are wrong to support Trump any further. Trump did some great things with his America first agenda. However he has become exactly what he ran against. Part of the swamp and a politician. He’s no longer doing this to put America first he’s doing this to appease his bruised ego.

Aside from The utter mess he created over his mismanagement of covid, and yes the mess was completely his fault for not getting experts involved outside of government run bureaucracy he is now supporting McCarthy.

McCarthy who sat on his hands and did nothing while the election was stolen at the commands of his globalist handlers. McCarthy who already said he’s not pursuing impeachment of anyone. McCarthy who is an active participant in the world economic forum that is an evil organization moving the entire world to a fascist rule by a handful of people.

Sorry at some point you have to say enough is enough. Trump made a deal with McCarthy. He’s become a politician. McCarthy is one of the biggest rats in the swamp

You are absolutely correct. The question now is this. Did Trump just show us he has been uniparty all along? This was total betrayal. Like he wasn't aware McCarthy campaigned against MAGA candidates? America first will move on without Trump,,,we will find an honest politician. Trump was not.

I had this suspicion for quite sometime now. What keeps us hanging on is how the Dems and the intel community go after him so much. The dirty dealing. But what if he was hired on to be the great divider.

Why does it have to be McCarthy or no one else? Why doesn’t McCarthy recuse himself for the good of the party?

I can no longer ride the Trump train. He has turned on MAGA with his McCarthy nonsense. MTG is a big disappointment. We can expect her to run her mouth, and when the time is right (like McCarthy) she’ll try and lead the heard left.
